Jacquard And Embossed Fabrics

Embossed fabric is a process in which a pair of rollers engraved with a certain depth of pattern presses the fabric at a certain temperature so that the fabric produces a concave-convex pattern with a relief-style three-dimensional effect and a special gloss effect. The bed scarf series is woven with embossed fabrics, with a wide range of patterns and choices. It can adapt to various hotel selection styles. So what are the differences between embossed fabrics and jacquard fabrics?

1. Different production methods

1. Jacquard: The warp or weft yarns float on the surface of the fabric or interweave according to the law to form a pattern or pattern.

2. Embossing: It uses physical and chemical methods to dehydrate, preserve color, press, and dry plant materials including roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and bark. Into beautiful decorative paintings, cards, and daily necessities.

Two, different characteristics

1. Jacquard: The jacquard machine has more cycle changes, more and richer colors, and can weave beautiful patterns with a high degree of simulation.

2. Embossing: The biggest feature of embossing art is that it comes from nature and returns to nature. The return to the nature of embossing art is very consistent with the pursuit of modern people.

Advantages and disadvantages of jacquard:

The visual effect of the front is the best, but the elasticity is poor, and it is easy to hook the thread on the back. Beginners do not have a good grasp of the tightness of the drawstring, and the surface of the fabric is prone to unevenness, especially for jacquard patterns with long drawstrings.

But the disadvantage of this method is also obvious. The surface of the fabric is uneven. At first, I thought it was a problem with my technique. I adjusted the tightness of the small sample piece by stitch, but it was still uneven in the end. Later, when I read the works of other sisters, basically all of them had this kind of problem. It should be caused by the pressure line, the surface is darker and lighter, and the color of the back line is also a bit obvious.
